Homily #100305 ( 06min) Play – In today’s Gospel we read: “By the Lord this has been done; and it is wonderful in our eyes.” Both the first reading (Joseph’s prophecy that he will rule over his brothers) and the Gospel (The parable of the vineyard tenants) talk of extraordinary prophecies. Fr. Angelo preaches on how these prophecies are at first rejected but in the end they are fulfilled by this very rejection and even become the means to save the rejectors. This is especially true with Christ.

Homily #100404 ( 11min) Play – Fr. Angelo preaches on the Resurrection and how it removes what separates us from God, that is,  sin, guilt, disbelief and death. As Jesus escapes from the sealed tomb, which is a symbolic barrier to rising, so too the fact that the angels then rolled back the stone and revealed the empty tomb is a removal of the barrier to our belief and trust in Christ and so removes the obstacles to eternal light and life for us all.
