]]> Ding-Dong the suicide bill is dead. Seems Sen. McDonald and Rep. Lawlor are having their difficulties since they tried to destroy the Catholic Church in Connecticut last week. Their pet bill, SB 1138 for assisted suicide, was pulled yesterday after a huge outcry from the citizens of CT. Given this bill was probably one of their key moves in their seemingly relentless crusade for the culture of death, it shows how badly their political health has been damaged. The assisted suicide bill from co-chairs Senator McDonald and Representative Lawlor, scheduled for a public hearing before the Judiciary Committee on March 20th, appears to be dead for this session. The reason for pulling SB1138 off the agenda is reported to be “clerical error.” Read more on his blog
