During November of 2007 The Roving Reporter and Fr. Angelo were going on retreat and were invited to stop by at Our Lady’s House, Our Lady of Ephesus House of Prayer, in Jamaica, VT on the way. It so happens that they ended up staying there! After their retreat Fr. Angelo, the stand-in Roving Reporter, interviews Mary Torinelli on the history of Our Lady of Ephesus House of Prayer. Listen to how the founding of a replica of Our Lady’s House came about.

It began as just another day at our friary in Toodyay, Western Australia but then we caught this little guy trying to get in to our retreat house. He claimed he just wanted to spend some time “praying”. We doubted his intentions, and took some photos for the police. We asked him to leave, and placed him in some bushes away from the building.

We decided not to press charges.
