This is dedicated to Patrick Wroe December 16, 1986 – December 22, 2006 beloved son of Dave and Peggy Wroe who were so instrumental in getting Airmaria started.

Friar Gabriel’s brother, himself being an accomplished skater, recently visited our two friaries in Western Australia, and while he was there shot another video of Friar Gabriel skateboarding. He used some of the original footage shot in 2004 but also took some great footage by riding a skateboard himself and holding the camera. He then edited the results together with some music from Fr Maximilian Mary Dean and here’s the result – great stuff!

Fiddleback chasubles and Franciscan sandals come together in the extraordinary form of the Mass (Traditional Latin Mass) at Our Lady of Guadalupe Friary of the Franciscans of the Immaculate. The video is put to beautiful music from the Franciscan Sisters of the Immaculate, our sister order. The music was recorded in Italy and is a fine testimony to the high quality of their music program which, combined with the friar’s, is playing a major part in spearheading the liturgical music reform in Italy.

It has just been brought to our attention that composer and musician Eric Genuis will appear on Life on the Rock tonight on EWTN.  Eric has a wonderful and insightful philosophy on music that you and your family won’t want to miss – particularly older children who have been exposed to the music of today’s culture of death.  Not to mention – you definitely won’t want to miss his musical performance!
