Andre Bessette.  It is estimated that half a million miracles occurred through the intercession of Bl. Andre and the use of the oil of St. Joseph which he distributed from the Basilica in Montreal, Canada.  Bl. Andre is believed to have helped cure 1 out of every 10 or 11 people who spoke with him.

Alan preaches on the life of this humble religious brother who overcame a very difficult start with very bad health and the early death of his parents, but went on to enter the Holy Cross Brothers where he grew in holiness centered on his devotion to St. Joseph, which he promoted both by his apostolic activity and by performing miracles of healing. This culminated in the building of St. Joseph’s Oratory in Montreal.
