Fr. Angelo from our friary here in Griswold is now in Rome for our General Chapter which will take place there on Pentecost (really the day before Pentecost, this Saturday.) Many important decisions will be made for the Franciscan of the Immaculate so please keep Fr. Angelo and all the friars taking part in the Chapter in your prayers in these next few days. On the feast of Our Lady of Fatima, with the confirmation by the Holy See of the religious indicated for the General Chapter inaugurated on April 18, 2022, our commissarial period comes to an end.
The institute is grateful to the Church for her maternal concern which has seen Frs. Fidenzio Volpi OFMCap and Sabino Ardito SDB, until the advent of Fr. Gianfranco Ghirlanda SJ, who, assisted by Fr. Carlo Calloni OFMCapp, managed with competence and generosity to direct the Institute towards new horizons.
We offer our best wishes to Fr. Immacolato M. Acquali as the new Minister General and to Frs. Massimiliano M. Zangheratti (Vicar General), Alfonso M. A. Bruno and Johnfrancis M.
