The swearing in of a Democratically-controlled Congress in 2006 was a setback for the Culture of Life. Today’s public assault against the virtue of chastity and the sanctity of family life began in 1965 with the Supreme Court case of Griswold vs. Connecticut that legalized contraception. Ever since then, emotions have trumped right reason in the public discourse. Without a total conversion of our own hearts, others will never see the light of truth, and the slaughter of innocents, the trivializing of sexuality, and the emptiness of our cultural experience will continue. In this program, Fr. Angelo and Corinn touch on all the consequences of electing a party whose foundation rests on the principles of the Culture of Death.

There is a formula to overcome this juggernaut of secularism and self-worship, but the cost is high: the cost is our own selfishness and the call to a deeper conversion. Angelo discuss the rights of God, the need for penance, and the need for personal conversion as the surest weapon in this the greatest fight of our times.

Fr. Angelo tells it as it is in regard to the movie “The Secret?? that was produced last year by Prime Time Productions and Rhonda Byrne. He explains how the secret is hardly a secret but is rather age-old, common-place positive thinking, taken to such an extreme that real dangers are ignored. Further, it is a very self-centered, materialistic outlook, and the movie uses shameful, Dan Brown marketing techniques to exploit those suffering from insecurities. Watch Fr. Angelo’s video as he explains that real “positive thinking?? is to stand fast with Christ and Our Lady.
