This book is a good introduction to the Eucharistic teaching and devotion of St. Maximilian M. Kolbe, and includes many excerpts from his writings and testimonies to his priestly zeal. Its popular style will appeal to all.

Friar Solanus reviews the booklet Jesus Alone by Gianpaolo Mosconi, published by the Academy of the Immaculate. This is a short biography of a Congolese nun, Bl. Marie-Clementine Anuarite, martyred in the former Belgian Congo in 1964. The parallel between Sr. Anuarite and St. Maria Goretti is drawn out. Sr. Anuarite was a member of the Legion of Mary and had a great devotion to the B.V.M. This video was shot on location at our Munster (Perth) friary garden.

This small book (just over 100 pages) is a good introduction to both the Miraculous Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe and the Holy Shroud of Turin. Recent scientific investigations on both images are addressed. The book is well-illustrated with photographs. This video was shot at our Munster, Perth house –  beside the rose garden (beautiful roses, just like in Guadalupe).

This small, pocket-sized book is easy to read and contains just over 150 pages; it is well illustrated with beautiful sketches of the Blessed Virgin Mary. If we wish to imitate the B.V.M. as a person, we have to imitate her virtues: this little book will show you how to do this. The book was translated into English by Fr. Edward Hoare, an Australian Rosminian, and was first published in the English language in 1903.
