My family and I were at the table last night discussing the miracle of Pope Francis’ papacy. He has the world’s attention because he appeals to the brokeness of society. And we are all broken to some extent. I think the Holy Father’s greatest witness to the world is his love for everyone. He is the image of Christ in word and deed! “I did not come into the world for those who are well, but for those who need a physician. ”
We were created to love and to be loved, and that appeals to the masses…even those who seem to have flawed doctrinal issues with this Vicar.
Love always wins in the end. Let love be the witness to souls first, to the point of martyrdom, then feed it the truths of Christ. Pope Francis is definitely making Holy Mother Church attractive by accentuating the beauty of the Faith. God is love.
“They must be Christians…see how they love one another. ”
