I was trying to find where is this excert. I found it is in the chapter III. In this chapter St. Alphonsus comments the Hail Holy Queen part where we say: hail … our hope.

I’m mention that just as a curiosity.

I know what I’m going to say has not to do with the matter, but I can’t resist to say it.
It’s about a letter written by St. Alpholsus Mary of Ligouri in October 23rd, 1774, in closeness of a Conclave in that century – Letter 773. To Father Traiano Trabisonda. Have you ever read this letter? I think you will like to read it too. I read its translation into Portuguese in this website.

Oh, that’s so comforting and encouraging! Thank you, Dear Friars, for publishing this excert.

I have already read The Glories of Mary fully in Portuguese. For me, it’s the best book about the Blessed Mother that I have ever read. Its reading is dificult, but, for me, it was very important in order to understant so many things about the Blessed Mother. Perhaps I should say it helped me to understand all I needed to understand about Mary in order to love her properly or worthly. The Glories of Mary was more important for me growing in love for Mary than Treatise on True Devotion to The Blessed Virgin. But I said this not to less the Treatise, but because The Glories of Mary was a great blessing for me.
