Ave Maria!

Thanks, Jared. Good to hear from you. The “great intellectual cathedral” is appropriate in regard to a series that so well demonstrates the beauty of the Cathedrals. Let us pray for Fr. Barron in this regard.

It may not come up, but it should be known that Fr. Barron, like so many of the “Radical Orthodoxy” theologians (I’m not affiliating Fr. Barron with this group), seems to blame modernity on Duns Scotus’ formulation of the univocal concept of being, betraying a fundamental misunderstanding which results in a serious misrepresentation of our Blessed’s opinion. This effectively poisons the well for many philosophers and theologians who may have otherwise been interested in the “great intellectual cathedral” that can help “dispel the clouds of atheism” which Scotus so deftly constructed (Cf., Paul VI, Alma parens).
