Agree with site post. And Gibson’s last state is worse than his first.
He and Hitchens need our intercessions for sure. This is our job as a priestly people. Hitchens must have gotten run over by a nun when he was a youth. Whatever…he needs us.

exactly my point. Totally diabolic! I’m not saying that we need to make excuses for Mel. I was just trying to say that this is the work of the devil. He (Satan) will do anything he can to push people away from God, the church, their faith. He will use anyone and anything to do this. I think Mel was used for that very purpose.

I can not buy into the whole “Devil made me do it”, philosophy in reguards to the way Gibson has been acting. It is almost like “Catholics” have rallyed behind him. When in all actuall reality I believe that he has claimed to be in kahoots with his father, who called Vatican II a masionic ploy to infiltrate the church. On My score card that makes him not in conjuction with the Holy See therefore not a practicing Catholic.

So Mr. Gibson made a great movie about the Passion of The Christ, he left no stone unturned in making this production. He was right on, got the Papal approval and Christians around the world finally saw in reality what they have been meditating on over the years. Are we forgetting this is the same individual who made or starred in such movies like, Mad Max, Lethal Weapon Series, Ransom, Braveheart, The Patriot, Apactalypto, etc.. All bloody, gore filled, and rated R. So why are we surprised or shocked when Mr. Gibson goes crazy like a top out of control, throwing his “pearls before swine”, when he has no grace or very little coming from the source of all graces, due to his own egocentrism.

This whole Mel Gibson thingy is totally diabolic. Just listen to one of the taped phone conversations. The devil will do all that he can to turn people away from God.
