I love Our Lady’s words of consolation to Juan. Above all, I love Her deep and intense love me, for us, Her rebellious children! What a truly loving Mother She is! I sought consolation in her words. Today I woke up feeling unwell. I struggled to work. My body was aching all over and I was feeling drowsy. I could not concentrate. I went back to bed and slept for another two or so hours. I woke up still weak with cloudy mind. I made some breakfast and took and sat at my desk again to start my writing.
As I was writing, there is this voice that always consoles me, I believe it is the Holy Spirit or my Guardian Angel, that always tells me that God is happy with me; that God loves me; that God his right here with me now; that I will over come this problem; that I will finish my writing. Then, I felt a silent bliss and I started writing and ideas were beginning to flow. But as I was writing, the voice came back, this time it reminded me of how our Blessed Mother, Our Lady loves me. It reminded me of the words She spoke to Juan Diego, “Am I Not Here who Am Your Mother” and then I decided to go online and read about Our Lady’s apparition in Guadalupe. There are several narratives online about Our Lady of Guadalupe, but yours captured my attention because of the title, “Am I not Here…” I was looking for her words, not the entire story of her apparition, for consolation. And now I have copied the passage of her words to Juan prayer into my diary (I have credited Ave Maria Meditation and you as the source) so I can read them everyday because Her words are ageless fresh; they speak to me today as they did to Juan with the same intensity of motherly love!
