On the other hand, this is the only apparition of the Blessed Virgin Mary where an order of priests was established specifically because of Our Lady’s visit.

I do hope, like Joan of Arc, that maybe, many years after her death, the Church will recognize her sanctity and raise Melanie and Maxim to sanctity. Any soul who comes forth with a message from Mary, if the apparition proved true should be canonized. Especially if they are young children.
