As a convert to the faith and adoptive mother, I recently published a book entitled “Behold Your Mother: Mary Stories and Reflections from a Catholic Convert” that explains how I never fully understood Mary’s motherly heart until I became a mother myself.

But through my children, I came to understand that just as my love for them does not depend on their response … so Mary’s love for us does not depend on whether we FEEL loving towards her. She waits for us to turn to her, and then ministers to us as only a mother can.

God bless you!
