As we go about our own daily routine 6 years later, it is comforting to know that people still care, that people still pray for the victims of this malicious act done by the jihadists. Thank you very much FFI for letting us be there with you, it was beautiful to hear the prayers of God and Our Lady being said at Ground Zero.

Many had worshipped at our parish. My pastor had a brother missing for 3 days. We had a Memorial Service the next day. I read off the names of the missing firemen. It was very emotional for us. A deep haze and soot was in the air for many days. Everyone knew somebody who was lost. Now I live, retired, in Florida, but will never forget 9/11/01.
