There is quite a debate concering this post on Free Republic .   There are now almost 2000 views and over 200 replies and these are from Protestants, Catholics and Eastern Orthodox.

It is not ‘rocket science’ and is Scripturally based. If we read the Gospels and accept them; accept what Our Lord and Savior either did or said, in order to save our souls, then the blueprint is there. Jesus came to show us how to save our souls and he came to us through Mary. It is not a stretch to think we should take the same return route…through Mary.

The bottom line is…. Mother Mary can resist nothing we ask of her, and Jesus can resist nothing she asks of Him. So if we ask her to intercede with Him for us….. it’s a win win! (Just try it, sincerely, and you will always have an advocate!)

Those who mistakenly think that this event means we are worshiping Mary are misguided. Our Lady wants nothing for herself, but she will always listen, and then direct us to her Son.

When we think about the hearts of Jesus and Mary we can rely on this truth:
Through hers our prayer is always heard… through His our life is won!

If the Holy Father would confirm Our Lady as Co-redemptrix, Mediatrix of all graces, and Advocate, the world will be headed for peace.

Please let’s let the Holy Father know, we want the 5th dogma proclaimed!
